About
Hello! My name is Kristen and I have worked in higher education since 2010 in various capacities such as: Information Systems, Instruction, Advising, Articulation, Curriculum and various other areas including Study Abroad and International Student Exchange programs.
Educational travel holds a special place in my heart and my experiences with studying abroad have informed my work in higher education and beyond. Now I am able to utilize my expertise in higher education to both promote and support these programs whenever possible. In the future, my goal is to promote global understanding through Study Abroad and Exchange programs because educational travel facilitates cultural appreciation, and that is a gift all college graduates deserve with their degree.
Higher education is not only a way to gain knowledge from text, but to connect students with their peers, their educators, their community, and the entire world. I am so fortunate to serve my community through promoting social mobility, equity, accessibility, exploration, and discovery through higher education.
