The Research Protections Office (RPO) manages multiple programs to promote the ethical and responsible conduct of research at California Lutheran University.

All research activities conducted by faculty, staff, and students at Cal Lutheran must be in accordance with strict ethical principles and comply with federal, state and institutional policies and regulations. 

The Research Protections Office provides broad oversight, resources, training, and education to ensure that all research meets the highest standards of ethical conduct and complies with regulatory requirements.
