The Maya civilization is one of the oldest civilizations of Abya Yala (colonially known as the Americas), having made significant contributions to the world in mathematics, science, astronomy, medicine, architecture, agriculture, and other fields of study. In this session, Maya elder Don Audelino will share about Maya Cosmovision, their scientific and spiritual belief system.

This learning experience is being offered at no cost to the Cal Lutheran Community by Highland Support Project, one of our alternative break service-learning partners. We are partnering with Highland Support Project for our Alternative Spring Break trip to Guatemala in April 2023. Applications for the trip are open from Monday, October 3rd to Sunday, October 16th.
