Official Transcript Evaluation Directions

Applicants are required to submit an official transcript evaluation if they have transcripts from outside the US. Please note, this requirement cannot be waived.

The applicant must contact one of the evaluation companies listed on the links below and have their transcripts evaluated. We will need both the official transcripts and official evaluation to be considered for admission.

• Official transcript evaluation should include GPA equivalence and course-by-course listing, done by a NACES member company. CLU recommends two providers who have offered CLU applicants a streamlined process for obtaining an evaluation. These are IEE and The Evaluation Company. This should be ordered and sent directly to CLU to be considered official.
• Official transcripts, marks, degree certificates, etc. from all colleges/universities attended.
  Official Transcripts must be sent directly to Cal Lutheran from your College/University or agent to be considered official. This can be done via mail or electronically using the directions below:

• Teacher or PPS Credential candidates: Domestic applicants who completed their bachelor's degree outside of the U.S. are required to submit an Official Transcript Evaluation from a CTC Approved Foreign Evaluation Agency. The evaluation should include GPA equivalence and course-by-course listing. Per the CTC, the evaluation should state the degree is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree or higher. Official transcripts must be ordered and sent directly to Cal Lutheran via certified e-transcript or mail.

Unofficial Copies - Scanned copies are accepted until we receive the official documents in the mail or electronically directly from your institution. Unofficial Copies can be sent via email to intladmission@CalLutheran.edu.

Please note: Uploading the unofficial transcript to your admission portal will not complete the checklist requirement as we need to verify the documents, so please notify our team if you have uploaded documents for review. Although you can submit unofficial copies, your file requires the transcript evaluation. Without the evaluation, you will not be routed for an admission decision.

Applicants missing any of these requirements will not be considered for admission until received.
