Christa and I met while each of us was deciding where to go to college. It was such a fragile and uncertain time for our young relationship, neither of us knowing if our paths would diverge. We chose Cal Lutheran and chose each other. We were both so fortunate to have CLU in our lives to help our love blossom, to learn about the world and each other, and to find friends that would support us. Without it, we wouldn’t be together today, and we wouldn’t have our beautiful daughter. Whenever we are back in Thousand Oaks we make sure to walk the campus, hand in hand, and share memories we will have for the rest of our lives, and appreciate what CLU gave us: a chance at love.
