Learn about alumna Lindsey (Rarick ’05) Carnett’s surprising global adventures when she started her own business, Marketing Maven. Explore the world through her experiences and learn some hands-on marketing tips you can put into practice immediately. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, author, volunteer, experienced executive or just launching your career, this talk will provide you with practical advice to help you on your adventure.
Carnett holds a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from California Lutheran University. She has received myriad recognitions for her work, including Entrepreneur of the Year West Ventura County Business Alliance, 40 Under Forty Honoree of the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce, Folio: Magazine Top Women in Media, featured in Forbes Most Powerful Women Business Leaders issue and more.
She served as vice president of Marketing for the National Association of Women Business Owners Los Angeles Chapter, vice chairman of the California Lutheran University Victory Club, adviser for the PRSSA and 4-year PR, member of the board of directors for the Electronic Retailing Association and marketing chair of Women in Sports and Events Los Angeles, marketing chair of Women in Sports and Events Los Angeles and board member for the California Lutheran University Community Leaders Association.
