Lisa Lindberg-Van Nortwick
Career Achievement
Lisa Lindberg-Van Nortwick ’83 was honored with the Career Achievement Award for her accomplishments in ceramics and business. Lisa graduated from CLU and the Institute of American Universities Aix-en-Provence, France, with a bachelor’s degree in design. In 1985, she founded Lesal Ceramics which distributes decorative hand-painted ceramic pieces across the United States and Canada. Her major clients include such well-known corporations as Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Macy’s. In 1993, Nordstrom recognized Lesal Ceramics as its top gallery vendor.
Lisa’s talents in creative ceramic art have been recognized by national publications including Metropolitan Home, Society Magazine, Bon-Appétit, San Francisco Chronicle and the Los Angeles Times. She has received the California Artisan of the Year Award and is a four-time winner of the Hermosa Beach Fiesta Des les Artes.
Committed to supporting charitable organizations, she has donated her artwork to help many non-profic organizations.
