You Got the Grant! Now What?

This class is designed to help you successfully manage life after the grant. You will learn about the best practices in managing the reports and the communication required to build long term partnerships with foundations, ultimately leading to more opportunities for support. Topics covered include:

  • Understanding the grant relationship
  • Managing the grant process
  • Tips for engaging the funder during the life of the grant
  • Reporting on the grant, and preparing for the next one

Facilitated by Tina Knight, an experienced senior manager in foundation, nonprofit, higher education and government environments. She specializes in: grantmaking expertise (competitive grants, scholarships, donor-advised fund grants, agency endowment payout management, and subaward management); fund development (foundation, corporate and individual donors); sponsored Programs Administration (federal, state, and local government funders); stewardship of funds held in the public trust (philanthropic and governmental funding); grant, contract and fund agreement development and negotiations; senior-level program, staff and budget management; policy and procedure development; board, committee and volunteer management; program development, management and evaluation; and partnership development and management.

There is no fee for CNL Members, $55 for non-members.
