Nonprofit Accounting Bootcamp: Four-part Series

Participants will be exposed to foundational accounting principles and their practical applications.  

Learning outcomes for series participants include:

  • An introduction to fundamental accounting rules (generally accepted accounting principles) and financial reports of nonprofit organizations.
  • Analyzation of which transactions get recorded in the accounting system and how.
  • Recognition of allocation methodologies and how they impact financial statements and external oversight.
  • The ability to record common accounting transactions.

Module I: Introduction and Contributions Accounting

Module III: Putting it all Together: Case Study Year One

Level: Intro/Intermediate

Target audience: Executive directors, and CEOs, CFO’s, finance staff, board treasurers and finance committees

This workshop is facilitated by Anne Freiermuth, principal at Mission Math. She has 19 years of experience working with over 50 nonprofit organizations in the areas of accounting, audit preparation, human resource management, board presentations and governance policy development. 

There is no fee for members, $225 fee for non-members.
