Peak Performance – The Xs and Os of Holistic Wellness for Student-Athletes
Kevin Nickerson, chaplain for the Los Angeles Rams, will speak about his holistic approach to guiding student-athletes to their peak performance.
Nickerson is a pastor, speaker, coach and mentor with 21 years of experience in ministry. Driven by an unrelenting passion to see young people transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ, Nickerson has witnessed the powerful impact of faith and sports coming together. He is in his ninth season as the official chaplain for the Los Angeles Ram, and had the privilege of leading the team spiritually during their Super Bowl LVI victory in 2022.
As the founder of GameBreakers Academy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to mentoring young people through discipleship, education and athletics, Nickerson emphasizes the transformative power of resilience, self-belief and overcoming adversity — values he instills in every mentee. His greatest role is as a devoted husband to Bebe, his wife of 20 years, and as the proud father of Zacarias, Lydia, Hannah and Gideon.
