About

Danica Selvaggio (she/her) has been with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County since 2014, and served as its VP of Marketing and VP of Programs under the agency’s previous CEO of 34 years, Lynne West, before becoming the Chief Executive in 2022.

Under Selvaggio’s leadership, the organization has returned to pre-COVID service levels, opened multiple site programs (including a west county youth room), and launched Team: Changing Minds Ventura County - a mental health initiative that leverages the intersection of mental health and digital tools to best meet youth where they are.

Danica is a graduate of UC Berkeley.
