About
Amanda Asquith-Caya is the Director, Career Development & Program Services, at UCSB's Bren School of Environmental Science & Management. Amanda has a strong background in higher education, employer relations, and student development, having worked in career services at Long Beach State, CSU Channel Islands, and UC Santa Barbara, as well as an Academic Advisor with UC Berkeley's Fall Program for Freshmen. She received her M.S. in Counselor Education from California Lutheran University, her M.A. in History from Boston College, and graduated with honors from UCLA for her Bachelor's degree. In her current position, Amanda is committed to serving as a strategic thinker and problem solver to enhance positive career outcomes for students interested in environmental fields, and in working to develop those in career services and talent acquisition careers.
