About
She developed her expertise and has an ABD from Tilburg University, classes in an EdD. program on leadership and organizational change, Benedictine University, an MA in Speech and Language Pathology and Communication at California State University Los Angeles, and programs in intercultural and diversity training, seminars, and workshops at NAFSA, TESOL and conferences, both in-person and online. She is a NAFSA Training Corp member and has presented professional research in the areas of intercultural education, international student acclimation and student success.
She has certificates from organizations such as the American Council on Education (National Women’s Leadership Forum), NAFSA, and an Inclusive Excellence award from Benedictine University “in recognition of her outstanding efforts in promoting diversity on campus and helping to create a culture of inclusive excellence.” She has presented at national and regional conferences such as ACE, NAFSA, TESOL, nationally and abroad.
