About

David Church is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in project management, consulting, education, process improvement, and leadership. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Program Management at Bank of America, leading a multi-year digital transformation and automation initiative. Since joining the bank in 2004, he has received multiple national accolades for his contributions to leadership and diversity.


Before Bank of America, David worked at top consulting firms including Arthur Andersen, KPMG Consulting, and BearingPoint, where he received recognition for his leadership on large-scale client initiatives.


David is also an educator, having taught project management, process improvement, leadership, and organizational behavior at multiple universities. At Cal Lutheran University, he created and teaches the Project Management course for the Executive MBA program. He has also designed a Process Improvement course for undergraduate learners at another institution.


In the nonprofit sector, David serves as Chairman of the Board for Central Texas Table of Grace (CTTG), a shelter and transitional program for foster youth. He has also contributed in advisory and leadership capacities to organizations such as UCLA’s Bruin Project Management Initiatives, Loyola Marymount University, and Covenant House of Southern California.


David holds a BS in Business Administration (Information Systems) with a minor in Sociology from USC’s Marshall School of Business, and an MBA from UCLA Anderson. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). In 2024, David delivered a TEDx Talk on goal achievement and managing change through project management and behavioral science.
