About

Josh is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Adjunct Faculty in the M.S. Counseling Psychology Marital and Family Therapy (MFT) Program at California Lutheran University. Josh currently works in Private Practice serving adults who are experiencing anxiety, life transitions, and career issues. Josh also specializes in working with Neurodivergent clients. Josh is trained in a variety of therapy modalities to include; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Self Compassion in Psychotherapy, Polyvagal Theory in Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and is certified in music-based therapies called the Safe and Sound Protocol and Rest and Restore Protocol. Josh has experience working in non-profit’s, county mental health, and transitioned into this career field after spending 16 years as a financial manager with the U.S. Department of Defense.
