Khrystyne Wilson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Religion. She received her JD and PhD from the University of Arizona with a focus on Indigenous Peoples Law & Policy and American Indian Studies.

Her research examines religious freedom in the United States with specific attention to the biases against American Indian religious practice. She has written laws for the Navajo Nation Government, assisted the United Nation Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief, and worked on numerous religious freedom cases defending American Indian religious freedom.
