Scott Powers has over twenty years of public service working at various levels of government including the Department of Energy and currently with the County of Ventura. He has worked in the County Executive Office since 2009 and currently serves as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer in the County Executive Office for the County of Ventura. There he oversees a team of analysts focused on a multitude of matters related to budget, operations, finance, policy, legislative, strategic planning and analysis. Prior to this he worked in the defense industry for Lockheed Martin and Raytheon Corporation as a program analyst and project manager. There Scott continued to take on challenging roles in working with a team that oversaw critical defense projects with national and global significance. His diverse experience in various governmental entities, coupled with his tenure in the defense industry, has provided him with a unique and valuable perspective in analyzing and navigating complex challenges and implementing innovative solutions.
