Children's Book Writers/Illustrators conference on Oct. 29

The Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI), Ventura/Santa Barbara Region in cooperation with the School of Education will hold its 20th Annual Writer's Day on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Preus–Brandt Forum. SBCWI is offering free admission to 10 CLU students and/or faculty. In addition, special student rush seats will be available for $20 the morning of Writer's Day.
