IN MEMORIAM

The campus community mourns the death of Susan Izumo on Oct. 9 after a 15–month battle with renal cancer. The 58–year–old wife and mother enjoyed a distinguished career in education including service as Director of Admission at CLU and as the first Dean of Women at Pepperdine University's Malibu campus. She also was an articulation officer and counselor at Moorpark College. She earned her master's degree in counseling from CLU in 1981. She is survived by her husband, Gary, and two children, Elizabeth and Matthew, of Westlake Village.
