CLU School of Business Professor to Oversee ADEP Program

THOUSAND OAKS, CA –– Randall Donohue, Ph.D., an assistant professor in the School of Business at California Lutheran University, was appointed Director of the Adult Degree Evening Program (ADEP) effective Aug. 15. Donahue replaces Mike Doyle, who has joined his wife, Pamela Jolicouer, Ph.D., in Minnesota. Jolicoeur, former Provost of CLU, is the new president of Concordia University in Moorhead, Minn.

As ADEP director, Donahue will oversee programs and staff serving nearly 300 adult students and will supervise approximately 25 faculty members. He will lead a seasoned team of administrative staff and admission counselors supporting a number of 11–week graduate and adult programs delivered in four terms per year.

In addition to his new administrative duties, Donahue will continue teaching and serving as faculty advisor to the CLU chapter of the American Marketing Association.

A member of the CLU faculty for the past six years, Donahue worked overseas in international business and education before coming to CLU. He established and managed a multicultural team of managers and consultants in 14 countries promoting exports of U.S. products. Moving into higher education in 1992, he served as a foundation faculty member in international marketing communications at Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore.

Donahue has a master’s degree in international marketing from the University of Strathclyde and a Ph.D. in business and management from the University of South Australia.
