(THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – June 26, 2008) The Kingsmen Shakespeare Company is hosting a Wine Tasting and Silent Auction from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 13, to raise money for its theater programs.

Admission is $45 and includes six tastings, hors d’oeuvres and entertainment by Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival actors. A silent auction will include getaway packages, golf outings and theater tickets. Guests may also purchase wine from the WineStyles collection.

The Kingsmen Shakespeare Company is a nonprofit professional theater organization dedicated to providing a low-cost and professional celebration of the Bard’s works for the entertainment and education of the community. It has produced quality productions during the Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival at California Lutheran University since 1997. The current season features performances of “As You Like It” June 27 through July 13 and “Henry IV: The Apprenticeship of Good Prince Hal” July 18 through Aug. 3.

The professional nonprofit theater organization also coordinates apprentice programs for college and high school students, an educational tour program in local schools, and summer theater camps for youth.

The event will be held at WineStyles in the Janss Marketplace at 193 N. Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks.
