Panel to address changes in education

Forum at CLU will feature four local superintendents

Mario Contini, superintendent of Conejo Unified School District, is one of four speakers who will address the changing face of education.

(THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Sept. 15, 2008) Four local superintendents will discuss “The Changing Face of Education” during Phi Delta Kappa’s Superintendents Forum at California Lutheran University on Monday, Sept. 22.

The panel will feature Mario Contini of Conejo Unified School District, Tony Knight of Oak Park Unified School District, Ellen Smith of Moorpark Unified School District and Donald Zimring of Las Virgenes Unified School District.

The evening will begin with a welcome reception at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6 p.m. The panel discussion will run from 6:45 to 8 p.m. The cost is $25.

The forum will be held in Lundring Events Center in CLU’s Gilbert Sports and Fitness Center at the corner of Olsen Road and Campus Drive.
