Understanding Your Schedule

Ready to view your schedule?

Your schedule is comprised of courses that will satisfy your degree requirements. We do our best to accommodate your course preferences to set you up for long-term academic success this year.

Before you see your schedule, you'll need to complete a few steps.

Your schedule was made by academic advisers, who took into consideration any major requirements, IDEAS general education requirements, your course preference form, and any transferred college coursework and AP/IB scores.

How to view your schedule

Step 1: Submit transcripts

Have your official final high school transcript received by the Office of Undergraduate Admission.

Your school or counselors needs to submit your official transcripts to admissions@CalLutheran.edu or mailed to:

60 W. Olsen Road #1350
Thousand Oaks, CA 91360

For questions or information on additional methods of official transcript submission, please reach out to the Office of Undergraduate Admission

Step 2: Complete training

You are required to complete academic advising training modules, which reviews:

  • degree requirements
  • navigating student portals
  • how to add/drop a course
  • and other important information

You must complete this training and receive 100% before you are able to view or modify your schedule.

Academic Advising Modules

Step 3: Sign waiver

At the end of the your training module, you'll be required to sign a waiver.

This waiver will confirm that you understand that any changes that you make to your schedule will be your responsibility.

Did you self-report test scores?

If you self-reported ACT/SAT scores as part of you application for admission, you will also need to submit your verified scores to the Office of Undergraduate Admission before accessing your course schedule.

 You're done!

After completing all three steps, please wait 1-2 business days for your schedule to be available. Then, login to MyCLU to choose My Courses for a summary of your schedule, or select Self-Service > Student Planning for a detailed look at your academics.

How to make a change

If you find that a change is needed, there are steps you can take.

Change of schedule

We strongly recommend keeping your schedule and only making changes if necessary. After you've completed Step 2, you should be equipped with the information on how to add/drop courses and are free to do so as you see fit. If you'd prefer to have the help of an academic adviser, there will be drop-in advising the first and second week of the semester.

*Dropping below 12 credits (full-time student status) can jeopardize the following: financial aid, athletic eligibility, on-campus housing, etc.

Change of major

Time to pivot toward a new academic direction? You are able to change your major by completing the Declaration of Major/Minor form.
