Center for Active Learning

To promote the institutionalization of active learning (AL) in STEM classrooms at California Lutheran University and Oxnard College, we have launched the Center for Active Learning (CAL).

CAL ACT (ACT = Active, Collaborative, Transformative teaching and learning) Institutes are hands-on workshops intended to promote the spread of active learning. To apply to one of our CAL ACT Institutes, use the link to the right.

The CAL is funded by Oxnard College’s five-year Title III grant, Project Acabado, in collaboration with Cal Lutheran.
