Exhibition Proposals

Thank you for your interest in exhibiting with California Lutheran University. We welcome all proposals from artists, curators, and cultural organizations that align with our educational mission and foster meaningful engagement with students, faculty, and the broader community.

Exhibitions are generally planned 6–24 months in advance, and all proposals must be submitted through our online form.

We prioritize proposals that:
  • Are aligned with the mission of California Lutheran University
  • Encourage student and campus engagement through thoughtful programming or thematic connections
  • Maintain appropriate standards for installation and care of artwork
  • Are fully funded or include confirmed external funding
Additional Notes
  • Submissions will be reviewed by a the gallery committee
  • Accepted proposals will be notified and scheduled.
  • Exhibition opportunities will need to remain flexible regarding campus galleries space availability.
  • Due to volume, we may not be able to respond to every proposal individually, but we do appreciate considering us as venue for art and cultural engagement.
