Branded Products & Approved Vendors
Items or apparel bearing the university's trademarks (including "California Lutheran University," "Cal Lutheran," and our team names, our logos and Spirit Marks) must be purchased from a licensed vendor. The process for placing an order is outlined below.
Cal Lutheran offices, departments, and programs only are eligible to order items bearing the university's logos or Spirit Marks. Exceptions for current and incoming students and alumni are granted on a case-by-case basis. Please refer all requests to licensing@CalLutheran.edu.
Ordering items for resale? If you're placing an order for branded items that will be resold, please email licensing@CalLutheran.edu to discuss your needs. Follett has an exclusivity agreement with Cal Lutheran for university-sponsored retail sales on campus and items for resale are subject to royalties.

Ordering Process

Select a licensed vendor from the lists below.
Using a licensed vendor is important because they're required to meet certain insurance and production compliance standards and will always submit the product design to us for approval. -
Reach out directly to your selected vendor to choose your product, get a quote and provide the artwork, which can be a logo file, custom graphic or both.
All licensed vendors have access to the Cal Lutheran primary and spirit logo files, but if you want to use your departmental lockup, you'll probably need to provide that. Contact licensing@CalLutheran.edu to access your logo lockup files or to request a new one be created.
You can submit a Marketing Design Request for assistance creating custom designs; there is no chargeback for design services, as our workload permits. - The vendor will mockup the item with the artwork and send you a digital proof.
To ensure a smooth and timely ordering process, we recommend getting pre-approval of your artwork by sending your design or vendor's proof to licensing@CalLutheran.edu for review before moving on to the next step! -
After you approve the vendor's proof and confirm your order, the vendor will submit the design directly to Marketing and Communications for approval.
If we approve the design, your vendor will produce and ship your products. If we ask for changes, your vendor should send the revised design to you for final approval before moving forward.

Excepted Unlicensed Vendors
There are numerous vendors which are of good quality, but which are not licensed at present. For internal orders, we have not asked these companies to cease business with our campus, but please contact licensing@CalLutheran.edu for approval before you order.

All vendors must be licensed. If a vendor is not on this page, do not order from them.
If you have a preferred vendor that is not listed here, you can contact licensing@CalLutheran.edu to inquire if they are licensed. If they are not, then you will need to ask them to go through the process to become a Cal Lutheran licensee.
- If the vendor is already registered with Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), they just need to submit a request to add us.
- If they are not already registered as a licensee with CLC, then they will need to submit a request to get licensed and there may be a fee for them.
Please note that this process will take time, usually at least two weeks, and in most cases you can find the same or an equivalent product through a licensed vendor listed above.
