The Strategic University Events Department is a division of the Office of University Advancement and is charged with planning and implementing major institutional events.
Events include the President’s Christmas Concert and Reception, Baccalaureate and
Commencement Ceremonies, Academic Convocations, Corporate Partnership Panel Discussions,
Grant Program Speaker Series, and visits by Dignitaries. This division also plans
unique events around special occasions such as Presidential Inaugurations and Dedications
of new facilities.
Strategic University Events works in concert with various campus partners to incorporate
the message and values of Cal Lutheran, and to build community within the university
with all event endeavors.This office also provides logistical and event planning support
to a multitude of Cal Lutheran stakeholders and divisions.
