The School of Management is inviting you to our annual event; Paths to Professionalism on Thursday, February 22nd, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM at Lundring Event Center. This event is to discover how your path could be unfolded. There will be a panel of incredible industry professionals, as well as a chance to speak with recent alumni who just entered the working world.
When does sharing become oversharing? Balancing authenticity with professionalism is important for any successful job or internship search, and this workshop will go over how to professionally disclose personal information related to your identity, beliefs, accommodations, or background, as well as what shouldn’t be shared too early in the process. Topics will include addressing accommodation needs, LGBTQIA+ issues, addressing past convictions such as DUIs, ADA laws, and more.
Meet with one of our counselors to go over questions on your resume, internship/job search, interview, salary negotiations, LinkedIn profile, and/or discuss graduate school options.
The workshop will help prepare you for the CLU Career & Intern Expo as well as any other career fair you attend.
