International Clubs & Global Leaders
Join an international club on campus
You are welcome to join any club on campus. Our very own "United Students of the World" organization was specifically created for international students and those who are internationally-minded.
About United Students of the World (USW)
The United Students of the World (USW) brings together domestic and international
students to celebrate cultural diversity, build cross-cultural friendships, and create
a sense of belonging on campus. Through cultural events, discussions, collaborations,
and community-building activities, USW encourages students to learn from one another's
backgrounds and global experiences while promoting inclusion and global awareness.
USW works closely with the Center for Global Engagement, supporting international education, study abroad opportunities, and intercultural programming on campus- creating student-led spaces for cultural exchange and global connection outside the classroom. USW also has strong ties to the Global Leaders Community at Kramer Court, helping strengthen the relationship between residential life, cultural engagement, and international community-building at Cal Lutheran.
Many study abroad participants join this group after they come back, to continue learning about other cultures. If you are interested in forming a club for students of your culture, contact global@CalLutheran.edu.
Be part of our Global Leaders Community
Residence Life and the CGE have partnered to offer this amazing Living-Learning Community at Kramer Court. If you have studied abroad, are interested in education away, have an internatitonal major or minor, are an international or exchange student, or simply have a desire to learn about and from different cultures, the Global Leaders Community is for YOU!
About the Global Leaders Community (GLC)
The Global Leaders Community (GLC) in Kramer Court is a living-learning space designed
for students who are curious about the world and passionate about cultural connection
whether you have studied abroad, are planning to, or simply want to learn from people
with different backgrounds and perspectives.
In partnership with the Center for Global Engagement, the GLC offers more than just a place to live. Through a GLC retreat and service-learning experiences, students deepen their understanding of global issues while making a tangible impact in their communities. The GLC fosters open dialogue, cultural exchange, and leadership development helping students become more globally aware and socially responsible individuals.
What makes the GLC especially unique is the strong sense of belonging it creates. Living alongside peers who are equally excited about exploring the world makes everyday conversations richer and more meaningful, turning college into something more connected, purposeful, and unforgettable.
Interested students must contact Residence Life (reslife@CalLutheran.edu).
