Eligibility Criteria

Check Your Eligibility

1. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
2. Must be a first-generation college student^[1] ­and meet income-qualifications OR must be from a group that is underrepresented in graduate education.^[2]
3. Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate in a degree-seeking program at Cal Lutheran.
4. Must have completed 60 college credits by the end of Spring 2026.
5. Must not be graduating before May 2026.
6. Must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
7. Must be planning to enroll in graduate school upon graduating from Cal Lutheran.
8. Must have a strong desire to attain a doctoral degree
9. Must agree to participate in all required program components.

We welcome Sophmores and Juniors from all undergraduate majors to apply. Deadline to apply is Friday, October 24, 2025.
