Admission decisions for regular graduate standing are based on a review of the following materials in the candidate's file:

Fall Admission priority application deadline for Cal Lutheran undergraduate students with foundations courses completed is May 1st.

Application Requirements:
  1. Schedule a Graduate Program Advisement with an admission counselor
  2. Complete Application online at CalLutheran.edu/apply
  3. Two (2) Recommendation Forms
  4. CTC issued certificate/permit/credential
  5. Personal Statement
  6. $30.00 Online Application Fee
  7. Official transcripts from all regionally accredited colleges and universities attended and any graduate work. Official transcripts must be ordered and sent directly to Cal Lutheran via certified e-transcript or mail. We recommend e-transcript if available at your institution.
    • Domestic applicants who completed their bachelor's degree outside of the U.S. are required to submit an Official Transcript Evaluation from a CTC Approved Foreign Evaluation Agency. The evaluation should include GPA equivalence and course-by-course listing. Per the CTC, the evaluation should state the degree is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree or higher. Official transcripts must be ordered and sent directly to Cal Lutheran via certified e-transcript or mail.

Credential Requirements:

Upon admission, the following documents need to be brought to your required advisement with the Credential Analyst within two weeks of receipt of your admission letter

  1. Current negative TB test
  2. Basic Skills Requirement
  3. Verification of CSET registration (minimum one subtest) or passing of Subject Matter
