About
CNL's Nonprofit Executive Leader Roundtable(s) are a unique, monthly gathering that will provide selected groups of nonprofit CEOs with the opportunity to candidly discuss the complexities of running a non-profit organization. These gatherings will provide space for exploring challenges and sharing best-practice ideas in a compassionate, collegial, confidential and trusted environment of peers.

Who Can Participate?
This program is open to paid (i.e., professional staff) nonprofit CEOs – either the executive director and/or lead staff person in the nonprofit organization who reports directly to the nonprofit’s Board of Directors. There is no additional fee for this program, however all participants must be active members (Individual or Organizational) of the Center for Nonprofit Leadership.
Note: Substitutes will not be allowed to attend meetings in the CEO’s place.
Program Details & Commitment
- Cohorts of 8-12 nonprofit CEOs will selected to meet in-person on a monthly basis over a 12-month period.
- Each cohort will be facilitated by a CNL staff or volunteer member. Subject-matter experts may be invited to present, but the primary intent of these forums is for collective problem solving by the members.
Application Timeline
- CNL is currently collecting applicant interest for a second Cohort of the Nonprofit Executive Leader Roundtable to begin in early 2026.
- Space will be limited, and participation is by application only.
