About

Danica Selvaggio is an 11 year veteran of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County, where she currently serves as the CEO. BBSVC is known for its one-to-one youth mentoring program, specializing in introducing mentors (“Bigs”) to mentees (“Littles”) who are facing adversity here in Ventura County and the Greater Los Angeles Area. The program addresses each participant as a unique individual, identifying what it will take to steer them, as an individual, back on a path towards personal success and lifelong impact.

She was instrumental in helping BBSVC obtaining the Gold Standard Award, a designation by Big Brothers Big Sisters of America that celebrates program and fiscal excellence as determined by nationwide best practices.

Danica is a graduate of UC Berkeley.
