About this event

Overview

In this engaging overview session, you will be introduced to the key concepts from Stephen M.R. Covey’s transformative book Trust & Inspire: How Truly Great Leaders Unleash Greatness in Others. Grounded in the belief that people today don’t want to be managed—they want to be led—this session explores the shift from traditional “Command and Control” leadership to the more human-centered, empowering model of Trust and Inspire. Participants will gain insight into the core paradigm of a Trust and Inspire leader, shaped by five fundamental beliefs about people and leadership, as well as an introduction to the three stewardships—Modeling, Trusting, and Inspiring—that support this transformative approach.

Learning Outcomes:

Through this workshop you will learn about:

  • Walk away with a clear understanding of how to lead with greater empathy and effectiveness -- Learn actionable ways to lead with greater empathy and effectiveness, no matter your role or industry.
  • Explore the 5 foundational beliefs of Trust & Inspire leaders -- Gain tools to recognize and unlock the potential in those you lead—starting today.
  • Apply the 3 core stewardships of Modeling, Trusting, and Inspiring -- Leave with practical strategies to build trust, spark engagement, and influence culture in your workplace or team.
  • Reflect on your own leadership approach -- Identify immediate steps you can take to lead with more purpose, authenticity, and connection in your day-to-day work.

Who Should Attend:

This workshop is designed for individuals in any career stage—because leadership isn’t about a title, it’s about a choice. The principles of Trust & Inspire offer practical tools you can apply immediately to elevate your impact, strengthen relationships, and lead with purpose. Organizations are encouraged to bring their leadership teams.
