Description:

Do you have major donors or other stakeholders to cultivate? Would you like to use your staff’s and committee’s time in a highly productive and engaging way? If so, this workshop is for you!

This workshop will seek to build upon the foundations of your current fundraising and relationship-building by sharing a model for pursuing your development objectives in a methodical, strategic and personally-customized way.  Using the Relationship Building for Prosperity® strategy process, attendees will learn to apply a practical and effective methodology to boost donor and stakeholder cultivation.

This workshop will be facilitated by Patricia Rachel Schwartz, (MA, MCC, NBC-HWC) and emceed by Lauren Trujillo (MLIS, CFRE), Executive Director of the Santa Barbara Library Foundation.

Workshop participants can expect to:

  • Reconnect with your “why” for the work you do.
  • Learn about a model to engage your donors/stakeholders that builds trust, connection and resilience, while leading in a natural way to major gifts.
  • Discover powerful questions to expand active participation and deepen commitment.
  • Experience the power of lived experience stories in building relationships between constituents.
  • Walk away with at least one significant action step to bring your key prospects closer to your organization, and closer to a higher level of investment in your organization.

Note:  Each attendee will receive a complimentary copy of the book Your Nonprofit’s 360Win: How to Build Relationships that Pay Off for Everyone®written by the facilitator, Patricia Rachel Schwartz. This book is being generously provided through the support of:  The Santa Barbara Foundation, The McCune Foundation and CLU Center for Nonprofit Leadership. The book will be used during the workshop.
