Funded Grants

The designation as a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) has allowed Cal Lutheran to receive Title III and V grants from the U.S. Department of Education. These grants allow the university to better address the needs of historically marginalized* students through tailored programs and resources.

*refers to Latine, Black/African American, Pacific Islander, Alaska Native, American Indian, and/or low-income students

Increasing pathways for Latine teachers in order to decrease disparities of diversity within the K-12 learning environment.

A partnership with Moorpark College to increase  transfer success of historically marginalized students at both institutions.

Expanding educational opportunities by connecting purpose and vocation with the academic curriculum.
