Community Cupboard
New for Spring 2026: The Community Cupboard is on the move!
The Community Cupboard has relocated to the Student Union, just behind the Wellness Center. You’ll find the entrance on the outside of the building near Mt. Clef. Open hours are 6 a.m.-10 p.m.
What is the Community Cupboard?
The Community Cupboard exists for current Cal Lutheran students who could use a little extra support. Inside, you’ll find essential food items — no judgment and no hoops. In addition, Trader Joe’s gift cards are available through the Campus Ministry office while supplies last.
How can students get access?
Beginning in Spring 2026, an application is required for access. It’s quick, it’s simple, and it helps us keep the shelves stocked for everyone.
Come as you are.
Take what you need.
What else should you know?
This program is made possible through the generosity of staff, faculty, and community members. We don’t ask students for anything in return — just take what you need, and leave some grace (and groceries) for the next person.
Before visiting, please review our Code of Conduct, so we can keep this space welcoming, respectful, and sustainable for all.
