Degree Progress

The first step in the graduation process is to confirm that you have completed or will complete all of your degree requirements by monitoring your progress in MyCLU.

How to Track Your Degree Progress

  1. Login to MyCLU and click on Student Planning under Self-Service.
  2. Review the information in My Progress to see your remaining degree requirements.
  3. Keep checking back continually until there are no remaining requirements listed.

Important Guidelines

  • All degree programs have a total credit requirement, GPA requirement and course requirement. It is important that you fulfill each of these areas.
  • In addition to the requirements listed in your program evaluation, all degrees must fulfill the basic graduation requirements in their catalog year. Go to the academic catalog to review graduation requirements for your degree level.
  • All Incomplete and In-Progress grades from previous terms need to have an appropriate letter grade. If this applies to you, check with the instructor of the course to submit a grade change. View your grades
  • If you have taken courses that need to be substituted for a required degree course, you should work with your Academic Adviser or Program Director to submit the required substitution form.
  • Doctoral and Master's degree students must complete requirements with a seven-year period.
  • Traditional undergraduate students must refer to the Senior Degree Audit in conjunction with these guidelines.

Remember to check your Cal Lutheran email account

One of the most important things to do is check your Cal Lutheran email account regularly. This is how we communicate information to you.
