Signature Semester Abroad Programs
Exciting News for Fall 2026! We're working hard to improve our semester program offerings and will launch a new partnership in the spring for impelmentation in Fall 2026 and beyond. Please monitor this page closely for updates.
Instructions
- Review our approved semester programs below. Cal Lutheran only allows participation in these approved options.
- Complete the two-step application process.
- Apply to OEA
- Apply to the host program directly through its website or following OEA's instructions. You must receive approval from OEA before you can complete your host application.
Deadlines
- March 15th: All fall programs (except the Oxford Program)
- September 15th: All spring semester programs
- November 1st: Oxford Program (one year in advance)
Costs and Aid
All Cal Lutheran semester programs charge standard tuition and fees, a housing fee, a meal plan (if meals are provided), and a Study Abroad Student Fee. Students retain their full financial aid package, including state and federal aid, grants, loans, and Cal Lutheran-specific scholarships, with the sole exception of work-study.

Selectivity
Please note that all programs have limited capacity. Cal Lutheran can only approve and nominate a limited number of students for programs. Please review our selection criteria on our Application & Commitment page.
