Resident Assistantships

Resident Assistants (RAs) have the opportunity to help residential students in their educational journey. Through their leadership, development of communities, management of incidents that arise, and balance of administrative duties, RAs support the diverse needs of residential communities at Cal Lutheran.

RA Selection Process for 2025-26

Review the information below for details about the RA role and selection process. To apply to a position, you MUST attend one information session.

  • 1/27/2025, 4:00pm - 5:00pm, Nygreen 2
  • 1/28/2025, 11:15am - 12:15pm, Nygreen 4
  • 1/29/2025, 6:00pm - 7:00pm, Mt. Clef Hall Lounge (Plounge)
  • 1/30/2025, 6:30pm - 7:30pm, Grace Hall Lobby
  • 1/31/2025, 12:00pm - 1:00pm, Humanities 124
Our selection process is for all RA positions, including:
  • Resident Assistant (RA)
  • Living-learning Community Resident Assistant (LLC RA)
  • University Theme Houses Resident Assistant (Houses RA)
  • Summer Resident Assistant (Summer RA)
There are four core components of the RA role:
  • Student Leadership
  • Community Development
  • Policy & Incident Response
  • Administration
