Hope Jordan, born in Argentina and raised between England and the United States, brings a global perspective to her art and teaching. Descending from a family of artists, her creativity has always been nurtured by a love of cultures, languages, and diverse forms of expression.

Her artistic journey has taken her through multiple mediums—graphite illustration, oil painting, photography, digital art, and sculpture—but watercolor remains one of her most beloved practices. She is drawn to its delicacy, spontaneity, and transformative qualities, which mirror the very process of learning. For Hope, watercolor is about both precision and freedom: attention to detail balanced with a willingness to let the medium surprise you.

As an educator, she values process as much as product. Her teaching emphasizes exploration, patience, and vulnerability—helping students discover that art grows when we let down our guard and connect authentically with our subject. She strives to create a classroom environment that is encouraging, hands-on, and reflective, where students not only learn technique but also discover confidence, creativity, and joy in their own work.

Hope considers teaching art an extension of her lifelong creative journey: a way to share her passion, inspire others, and affirm that the act of creating is both healing and deeply rewarding.
