The Cal Lutheran Experience

My work enables me to remain a student, which helps me connect with my students. I think it brings authenticity to what I’m trying to do in the classroom – how can I ask them to work hard and to be enthused about learning if I don’t model that myself?

Ever since I started taking French classes in high school, I became very passionate about the language. Learning French has opened up so many opportunities for me such as studying abroad in France and Morocco, meeting French speakers from around the world, tutoring Cal Lutheran students, and getting involved with the Alliance Francaise back home in Seattle.

My experience with the Sports Management program at Cal Lutheran is exceptional. The program has really helped me prepare for internships and other opportunities in the sports industry. The classes have given me a great introduction to the sports world and helped guide my passion in the right direction. I also appreciate how the professors have so many connections and set out to help their students getting started.
