My favorite aspects of the pre-law program are the courses—specifically those taught by attorneys. Many of the law courses I have taken at Cal Lutheran have required me to go to the court to watch preliminary hearings and appellate cases—something I have since loved to do in my free time. Some professors like Karen Oakman also prepare their students for law school by styling her exams after questions found in the Bar exam, requiring students to make case briefs, and requiring students to write and present oral arguments for a Suppression Motion.
