International Education Week 2026 | NOVEMBER 9 - 13 , 2026
International Education Week (IEW) is an annual celebration of the benefits of international
education and cultural exchange worldwide. Historically, IEW was established as a
joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education
to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and welcome future
leaders from around the world to study, learn, and exchange experiences. Today, colleges
and universities across the United States continue to recognize and celebrate this
important occasion, highlighting the value of global learning, international collaboration,
and cross-cultural understanding.
At California Lutheran University, International Education Week is an opportunity
to celebrate the diverse cultures represented in our campus community and embrace
the perspectives and experiences that make us stronger. The Center for Global Engagement,
in collaboration with campus partners, invites you to participate in a week of activities
and programs that encourage global learning, cultural exchange, and meaningful connections.
Celebrate the cultures, stories, and experiences that makes our world unique! Explore
the world through photographs submitted by Cal Lutheran students, each offering a
glimpse into different places, traditions, and perspectives. Stop by our exhibition
and discover the photos that catch your eye, and vote for your favorites!
The winners will be announced at the World Fair, and the top three winners will receive
gift cards!
Stop by and see the world through the lens of your fellow students!
