Finance for Executives
Finance for Executives is designed for mid-to-senior level business leaders looking to enhance their financial acumen. Participants will learn to explain the purpose of the key financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement. The course covers the core concepts that underlie financial reporting and links the information in statements to measures used in strategic-decision making. Through hands-on exercises, executives will practice analyzing financial statements plus calculating and interpreting financial ratios. This course is designed to be delivered over 4 hours, ideally in one session but it can be spread across two meetings. The course modality can be in-person or online, and it is delivered by a School of Management instructor with extensive corporate and teaching experience.
Supervisor Skills for Public Agencies
Supervisor Skills Training for employees of public agencies that provides them with the necessary tools for success as supervisors. Topics included: Leadership and Communication, Recruitment and Retention, Motivation, Evaluating Employee Performance, Managing Employee Discipline and others. This professional development training typically takes place over 16 hours, spread over 4 half-days in the mornings from 8:30am – 12:30pm, and is instructed by a highly experienced School of Management instructor.
