World AIDS Day 2025 Event Series
Resilience, Responsiveness and Reflection
Join us for one or more of the events planned as part of Ventura County's annual World AIDS Day commemoration. This year's UNAIDS 2025 theme is "Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response."
5:15-6 p.m. Art Exhibit: See the display of AIDS Memorial Quilts from Quilt Project Gold Coast.
6-6:30 p.m. Public Health Networking: Visit tables hosted by local organizations focused on HIV/AIDS, collect stickers on your "passport" to win a spin at the prize wheel, and enjoy refreshments while learning about important public health resources.
6:30-7:40 p.m. HIV/AIDS Town Hall: This panel will feature experts sharing key updates, followed by a Q&A.
7:45-8:30 p.m. "Positively Speaking" and Candlelight Vigil: Hear from a local resident living with HIV/AIDS, and then join us for a nondenominational vigil to honor those whose lives have been lost to this pandemic.
All events are free and open to the public; no reservations or tickets are required.
