Students Learn from Executive
On December 7, the School of Management resumed it’s Executive Fireside Chat series with special guest Kevin Elms, Chief Financial Officer of Dole Packaged Foods. The Fireside Chats are an event series, specifically organized for members of clubs and associations at the School of Management. During the event, which drew approximately 50 students from the Accounting Association, the American Marketing Association, Delta Sigma Pi, the Entrepreneurship Club, the Financial Planning Association, the Investment Club, the IT Club, the Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA), Rotaract, the Sports Management Club, and our newest club, Women in Business. Dean Apfelthaler moderated a dialogue between students and our guest who provided deep insights into his own career, the CFO function, Dole Packaged Foods, and the industry it operates in.
