Spring Semester Fireside Chat with Shannon Shapiro
On March 27, we held our Spring Semester Fireside Chat. Our special guest was Shannon Shapiro, VP of Global Marketing for consumer goods company Ember. Shannon, who is also an alumna of our own Master of Business Administration (MBA) program spoke freely with students about her own career, work-life balance/integration, and the latest developments in marketing. She highlighted the fascinating rise of Ember, from early stage startup (with the founder having been one of the first speakers at the School of Management's Entrepreneur Speaker Series about 10 years ago) to a global company that has won multiple top innovation awards globally.
