Center for Social Issues (CESI) presented results
Jamshid Damooei, Executive Director of the School of Management's Center for Economics of Social Issues (CESI), presented select results from the 2021 State of the Region report for Ventura County. The report is based on research conducted by CESI on a bi-annual basis. It gives a detailed overview on the developments of various indicators relevant to the community, including economics, health, safety, education, and others. "The time is now, in fact, the time was yesterday" said Dr. Damooei, referring to the need for more equity and a different way of looking at prosperity in the county. Download report here.
