SDCIE Awards $180,000 to Four Incubator Grants
After a rigorous application and selection process, the Steve Dorfman Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship has announced the first four recipients of the Dorfman Incubator Grants. A total of 22 applications were evaluated by the grants sub-committee of the Center's Advisory Board. The awards are going to - Invocure/Evermore (Founder Brian Malchow), Modern Football Technology (Founder Christian Magesian and Tom Leogrande), Tlalipani (Founders Sabith Khan and Fabiola Lara), and the Fox and the Robot (Founder Joshua Janik). The total non-dilutive grant funding awarded to the four recipients - all of whom have involvement of Cal Lutheran alumni and even one Cal Lutheran faculty colleague - amounts to $180,000. Congratulations to the four awardees and our sincere thanks go to Advisory Council member Steve Dorfman for his generous funding of these startup companies!
