2022 New Ventura Fair held in-person
After two years of having been virtual, the School of Management held a very successful 2022 New Venture Fair in-person. 60 teams presented their startup ideas to approximately 200 guests in the Soiland gymnasium in the Gilbert Sports and Fitness Center, among them Cal Lutheran undergraduate and graduate students, high school students (Thousand Oaks High School, Oaks Christian School, Bakersfield Christian), and even a middle school team (One Spark Academy / Startup Kids). Several teams won a total of $15,000 in prize money in the categories Best MVP, Best Booth, Best Executive Summary, Best Booth, and People's Choice Award.
